Well, I Could State The Obvious

...Or I could make up something really interesting.

JJ Putz needs to go and I have a trade that could solve all the problems for the Mets.

Mets get:
Joe Smith
Grady Sizemore
Xavier Nady
Ian Kinsler
Jacoby Ellsbury

All of the other teams get:
JJ Putz
Luis Castillo
Gary Sheffield
Wilson Valdez
Javier Valentin

Now, only I could really pull that trade off so I guess we can forget about that for now.

But seriously. I can't believe the Mets gave up Joe Smith for him. If I had it my way (and the world was one big Burger King) I would wake up tomorrow and it would be summer. But also, the JJ Putz trade would never have happened. The Mets need Joe and Endy right now. I mean, they could do without Aaron Heilman but for all we know he could be on the Cubs now even without the Putz trade. Omar, you messed up again and made a putz of a trade. Now take responsibility for it and adress the situation and make a move that perhaps isn't so putz-ish.

That's all I have to say for now. I want ice cream.

I Don't Want To Talk About It

So, instead I going to talk about my school's sports dinner that I went to tonight.

Basically it was a BBQ and then an awards show where a bunch of seniors got random awards for stuff like doing well in sports and in school and having lots to do outside of school. Then we went to separate rooms depending on what sport we played. Softball just happened to go to my World History room. In there we got awards my coaches made for each of us. I got the "Sports Fact" award because I know a bunch of random sports trivia. Everybody got a quirky, personalized award like that. But, I also the award for being the most improved player so that was nice. It was a fun night until I came home and had to study for tomorrow's French quiz.

Mikey P. will hopefully have better luck against the Pirates.

He Should've Listened To David

David has a plan to prevent getting sick. He's going to stay away from anybody on the team infected. I don't know if that means he will eventually need a protective bubble but if it keeps him healthy, I'm good.

Carlos Beltran on the other hand can't get healthy. He was in the original lineup but had to be scratched because he is still sick.

The Show Is Seriously Addicting

I haven't put the Citi Field pics on my computer so no post yet.

Tonight on NBC the show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! premiers. It was on in London when I was there and it was really addicting. I watched it and wanted it to come home with me. And now it has. So, I'm definitely going to see some of it tonight and hope it is as good as it was in London.

The Mets are playing shorthanded tonight by placing Angel Pagan on the DL and having to wait until tomorrow to activate Alex Cora. Oy vey.

And John Maine is still sick. Hopefully he doesn't get Pelf sick. They are buds but Pelf should know to stay away. Mainer probably had a tough flight. Feel better Mainer!
