Are the Indians Making a Run at the Royals or is this a Sign of Things to Come?

Mark DeRosa was traded to the Indians. He joins Joe Smith and Grady Sizemore on the team. Earlier I named the Royals the hottest team in the MLB but the Indians are starting to catch up.

I just hope this doesn't help the Cubs acquire Jake Peavy.

"A Shadow Past, A Shadow Past"

Chad Pennington won another Comeback Player Of The Year award. YAY! Hopefully he can bring the Dolphins all the way back and give 2009 a good start.

I Wish I Could Post This

But I think it would turn my blog into a not G-rated or PG-rated blog. I mean, I would think Spring Awakening is pretty PG-13 or maybe higher. But, it's really good. Like amazing. And Hunter Parrish is gorgeous.

Well, there is this one song from SA that I have been listening to since this afternoon. But I guess you'll never know which one.

Nothing Is Happening, Thank Goodness

Apparently there haven't been many talks between the Mets and Dodgers about Andruw Jones. Phew! I really thought Omar had completely lost it but I guess he still has some sanity left.

More to come...
Let's Go Mets!

jfjcvj gvsdfcgyu kiylnyub!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In other words, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING OMAR???!!!!!

Apparently the Mets are talking to the Dodgers about Andruw Jones. Not only does he spell his name the wrong way, he also flat out sucks at hitting. Oh yeah, he also was the face of the Braves for like forever. Not that any of that would matter. He would take over right field and that means Ryan Church would either be traded or move to left field.

This could get ugly. But, I don't think anything will come of these rumors.

They "collapsed" too!

The Denver Broncos have just lost to the San Diego Chargers and therefore have missed the postseason. They became the first team to miss the playoffs with a 3 game lead with 3 games to play. I guess all of us Mets fans can counsel the Denver fans. It is going to be a long offseason for them but I am sure they will get through it. I mean, they aren't in one of the media capitals of the COUNTRY!

Now, if the Superbowl ended up as Dolphins vs. (well, I don't really know but I just want somebody against the Dolphins) it will be a successful football season for me (and Chad Pennington)

Take that Brett Fah-veh-re!

Why Are They All Naming Their Kids Wyatt?

I mean, it's a cute name, and I first heard the name from the show Charmed (and that is still what I think of when I hear the name) but I knew Jake Peavy had a son named Wyatt and from the MLB.com holiday Q&A's I have found out Clint Barmes and Nate Robertson also have sons named Wyatt.

Buuuuuttttt, I liked the interviews of Mike Pelfrey, Ian Kinsler, Joe Nathan (I can't wait to see Michael Cuddyer in the booth), and Andre Ethier.

Merry Christmas! I am excited for tomorrow because I get to spend my Christmas seeing Spring Awakening! YAY!

Click Here To Vote Offseason 08-09 As The Worst Ever

First the Mets trade Joe, then the Yankees sign 2 pitchers to brag about and now they have Mark Teixeira. I am going to try not to implode with this news. Moving to Cleveland doesn't seem so bad right now.

Let's Go David Cook!

USA! USA!

Grady Sizemore already confirmed he will play for team USA in the World Baseball Classic and now David Wright is going to be the starting 3rd baseman.

USA! USA!

As Long As He Likes It

According to this interview Joe Smith is looking forward to pitching for the Tribe. I just want him to be happy but I am sure he would have enjoyed Mike Pelfrey as Santa Claus.

FuzzyDuck! There's A Lot More Pictures!

I didn't actually say fuzzyduck when I saw that, I said another word that starts with f and ends with uck.

I went to Mike Nickeas' NYFS profile and found about a gazillion more pics. Well, now I have to look at them and find my favorites.

It's A Love-Hate Relationship

Chanukah started tonight and I got the Sims 2 with 2 expansion packs. I really like playing the Sims but sometimes it gets so frustrating and then I hate the game for a while. But then it gets really addicting and I play it again. But tonight when I was playing everybody went upstairs and then I couldn't get the adults to go downstairs. I eventually moved the family to another house. But I think I will probably spend a good chunk of tomorrow playing.

I don't have anything to say about baseball. Nothing has happened. It's the offseason and I'm completely bored (even though the Mets made 2 big moves).

They Put Up A Gallery

Mets.com has a gallery from the holiday party with lots of Santa Pelfrey pics.

I Found More!

I found other links that have pictures and but one of the links is just the same pic but bigger. But I finally found pics of Mickey Claus!

...aaaand I might get a snowday tomorrow and that would be a really awesome way to start break.

This is the Best I Could Do

I found 3 links (1,2,3) that have Mike Pelfrey as Santa Claus. Two of them have the same pic but the other has a short clip of him talking about the bullpen. I am hoping the Mets will put up a photo gallery on their website but I am not sure. I also found an article from MLB.com that talks a little bit about Joe Smith and the fact he was close with Mike Pelfrey and John Maine.

Let's Go Mets!

I NEED PICTURES!!!!!!!!!!

Apparently today Mike Pelfrey was Santa Clause for the Mets charity holiday party. UMMmm... I NEED to see this. So, now I will go look for some way to see Mikey Claus.

GRRRRRRRR!

I was going to name this post 'URGGGGGGG!' but then my dirty mind caught up with me.

I want this week to be over so I can have 2 weeks of joy and no school. It's only Tuesday but I want it to be Thursday! Buuuut, today I got my Secret Snowflake (aka Santa but we needed something that could represent all the holidays) present at school. I got a big box of candy and a Mr. Met stuffed animal.

It was a nice change and it was nice because I have a test/quiz EVERYDAY this week.

The Mets are going to introduce K-Rod tomorrow and ** Putz on Thursday. I certainly don't want to pay any attention to the second introduction. Maybe the Indians will introduce Joe Smith, I would like that. I am worried about both of these pitchers because K-Rod looks like he could be injured any second with his motion and ** Putz has already been injured. Also, the Mets tend to attract injuries.

Speeking of injuries, the Mets really need to do something about 2nd base. I will protest Luis CastiUGH! if he is still the starter next season. By that I mean I will change the channel every time he is at bat. Anything would be an upgrade over him. I really don't care if they can't hit but if they at least get out by hitting some balls to the outfield that would be an upgrade. Being able to field would also be a plus.

The Mets still have a lot of work to do but they have done a lot of work already.

Well, There Goes That

The Mets traded Scott Schoeneweis to the D-Backs for Conor Robertson. It was nice having Jewish players on the Mets while it lasted.

Wow, that's depressing. I was just about to mention how I still love Joe Smith and how he can be the honorary Mets Jew, but he's on the Indians.

UGH!

*GAG*

The Yankees signed AJ Burnett today. So basically I'll be living with "the Yankees are so much better than the Mets, they got 2 really good starting pitchers and the Mets only got 1 last year." Hearing that from my brother and sister forever is not going to be fun. I mean, I know I did that to them with Johan but there are 2 of them and one of me so I had to do something.

Last night I was thinking about the trade that the Mets could make with the Cubs. It would send Scott Schoeneweis to Chicago for Jason Marquis. At first I didn't like it because it would trade the Mets last Jewish player. Then I remembered Jason Marquis is Jewish. Whoops!

My Life Is Officially Over

Have fun with Grady. I really don't know how I feel about this.

Oh yeah, PRETTY CRAPPY!

Goodbye Omar

I will never applaud you for anything else ever again. JJ Putz will never be cheered on by me.

I Can't Go Through This Again

There are rumors of a three team trade that would bring JJ Putz to New York and involve Franklin Gutierrez of the Indians and some Mets players including Aaron Heilman. Another Mets player included would be Joe Smith. If he were to leave I would never forgive Omar. I would never be able to watch a Mets game and root for JJ Putz. I don't really know what I would do.

I love you Joe

here's a link

I DO NOT LIKE GREEN EGGS AND HAM!

whoops! That's supposed to say, I DO NOT LIKE LUIS CASTILLO. But green eggs and ham sounds a lot like Luis Castillo so it is easy to get them mixed up.

I just read about K-Rod's uni # predicament. I think it would be cool if he wore 97 or something like that. But it's up to him and maybe he should just pick out of a hat.

Now it's time for homework.

Homework is Unnecessary

I probably would have had a post up earlier but I have this thing called homework. I'm not really a fan of it and I hear a lot of students around the world have it too.

I am not really sure of what to think about the K-Rod signing. Just like any other fan I am excited but I am also kind of worried. The Mets tend to attract injuries and K-Rod looks like an injury waiting to happen. I will be the happiest person in the world if he even performs half as well as he did last year but I can also say I told ya so if he gets injured. The best thing for the Mets would be to get a reliable set-up man that can fill in the closers role if needed. I don't mean somebody untested in closing games, I want somebody that has experience and won't be new to the 9th inning. It is a lot to ask of a team that just signed a major closer but I would love, in more ways than one, if the Mets somehow traded for Huston Street. He was a closer with Oakland and has had some rocky (hahaha) times but he would definitely help the bullpen.

If the Mets can do that and sign Jon Garland I will be a happy Mets fan.

Pitching is just one area that needs work but nobody can do everything at once.

Let's Go Mets!

p.s.
I wonder what number K-Rod will wear with Johan already OWNING #57

I Am Just In A Mood To Bash Omar

so I have to do this...

Tomorrow the Rule V draft starts and Mike Nickeas is not protected. I know he isn't very good but some team could want him. And that would mean another one of my favorites has left.

If Mike Nickeas is picked up I will forever bash Omar for that and trading Xavier.

The Hot Stove Is Finally Heating Up

Well, it should be. The Winter Meetings start tomorrow and hopefully the Mets will make some moves. I need something to keep me awake for the next 2 weeks before Holiday Break. I am looking towards the Hot Stove to do that. (And I am trying to get excited for the Fairly Oddparents Christmas special this year). But anyways, the Mets need to accomplish something this week. I am so sick of the Mets being spectators as all of the other teams fill their needs. Omar takes his time with every move and then says he tried to get the pieces but nobody was out there to get. THAT IS BECAUSE THEY WERE TAKEN BEFORE YOU TRIED!!! He already lost his chance with Vazquez and during the season he got NOBODY at the deadline. If he continues like this the 2009 Mets will be the same as the 2008 Mets. Except they'll be worse because they will be down 2 starting pitchers.

I am so sick of Omar and don't know how I will get through even 1 more year of him. I am sick of his mentality that he can get one big player and not need any smaller players to compliment that player. That is what he's done.

It's all or nothing for Omar.
And I don't feel like waiting to see more nothing.

Let's Go Mets!

Omar Is To Blame

He is the reason that I am not posting everyday. If he would just make some move I would have something to post. There aren't even rumors of the Mets talking to any teams about possible trades or talking to players about big contracts. The Hot Stove has been quite cold and I am about to freeze. The Winter Meetings should heat things up but I am really not expecting anything big to happen with the Mets. I have absolutely no faith in Omar and I can only see him making a few minor moves but keeping most of the old team.

I will leave you with this video of the song Gotta Be Somebody by Nickelback:

I Am Getting Really Excited

I just read this post on the New York Times baseball blog. Today I have read so much about Citi Field and I can't wait to go there. I can't wait for the season to start and the Mets to play home games. Gary, Keith, and Ron will talk about all the perks of the new park as the camera pans around the stadium during a coaching visit to the mound to speak to a member of the bullpen. I can't wait until the camera shows Joe Smith warming up in the bullpen and hearing about the new layout of Citi Field. And I can't wait to see the postgame interviews in the new clubhouse.

There is so much to look forward to and so long to wait.

I'm BAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaack!

I came back from London yesterday but I was way too exhausted to post anything. Once I get the pics on my computer I will post a recap of my trip.

Today the Mets offered arbitration to Poo Poo Perez. If they can get him at a cheaper price I am all for having another season with Poo (that sounds kinda gross) but he will think he is worth way more than his inconsistent pitching.

I am a big fan of Jon Garland and if the Mets could add him and also keep Perez then the rotation could have Johan, Mikey P., John Maine, Poo Poo, and Garland. If they can't get Garland then they should go after Javier Vazquez or another pitcher that could be 'lightening in a bottle'. They don't have to be the best pitchers. They just have to eat some innings and get the job done.

The Mets have a lot of fixing to do to their pitching staff.

more wikipedia

Wikipedia lists Luis Ayala as the Mets closer.

Not sure what to think of that.

...

I am going through random people's wikipedia pages and I get to Luis Castillo's page. As I'm going through it I find myself thinking, THIS GUY IS A MET?!

I really don't think I will be able to get through another season with that guy.

Now for good news:
The Braves have given up on their pursuit of Jake Peavy. THANK GOODNESS! I would be in a serious pickle if Jake ended up on that team.

"That Day I Hear Them Say..."

Edit: And I am only listening to Legally Blonde with Laura Bell Bundy. NO BAILEY!

So, at first I was looking for the really cute guy that played Leaf Coneybear in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee when I went to see it Christmas Break 2006. (And don't even ask how I got to looking for that). I figured out that it was Barrett Foa. AND HE IS CUTE!

anyways...
I got in the Show Tunes mood and I started listening to Legally Blonde music. And I started belting it out. But I am belting the songs out really loudly and my brother hasn't said anything so I can't be too loud.

"I AM SO MUCH BETTER THAN BEFORE!"

but you already knew that.

Well, here is the story about his foundation gala last night. He is really hot and I am so glad I can see new pics of him.

Nobody should be surprised Cliff Lee won the Cy Young for the AL. Congrats Cliff and Tim!

I LOVE YOU DAVID!

Wow. This Could Turn Into A Really Bad Day

According to ESPN Nick Swisher is going to the Yankees. And Jake Peavy could be on the Braves any minute now. I am not sure if I can take both of them being traded in the same day. AND TO TWO TEAMS THAT I HAVE A STRONG HATRED FOR! That would mess me up.

And tomorrow a YANKEE has a special birthday.
It's a good thing the Mets should be smart enough to keep David and Mikey P.

Matt Holliday was traded to the A's. That would be all well and good if Barry Zito was still on the A's. Or Nick Swisher. Or Eric Chavez could stay healthy. But that is not happening so one hottie I like has moved on.

Good Luck Matt... I'll be rooting for you!

this is really funny. i found the link from 'divided loyalty'. you really have to watch. i cracked up watching it!

More Rumors But No Moves

First of all, congrats to Grady on his Gold Glove. He truly deserved it.

Now, there has been so many random rumors that I don't even know what to post. Jake Peavy is destined to be traded to a team I don't like. And you can say the same thing about Matt Holliday. K-Rod is willing to be flexible with his contract but I would rather the Mets sign Brian Fuentes. It would be nice if they could sign Derek Lowe or Ryan Dempster. The Mets first priority should be the bullpen but with Omar you never know.

I am really bored without baseball.

I Almost Lost It

But Cody was saved after being in the bottom 2 on Dancing With the Stars tonight. But after Lionel Richie's second song I think I did lose it. Well that is what my sister will tell you. Because it was about to go to commercials but before it did they showed Cole Hamels in the audience. So, of course, I screamed "COLE HAMELS!" if only because it is something that has to do with baseball.

Now for the Mets and such:
YAY! David won his second Gold Glove award and Carlos Beltran also won.

The Mets are interested in Julio Lugo for second base but I will take anything over Luis CastiUGH!

There are a bunch of other Mets rumors that I don't feel like writing because Omar will make sure nothing goes farther than a rumor.

Everybody Has An Opinion

I just came back from my school election thingy. I am definitely more interested in this election than any other but I still don't have that much of a preference in either of the candidates. I mean, if I could vote I definitely know who I would vote for (but I am not going to tell anybody). I will pay much more attention to the next Presidential Election because hopefully I will be registered and I will vote in 2012. But it is going to be different when January comes around.

Right now Obama has a commanding lead and that will probably hold up... but you never know...

I just really hope you voted if you are 18 or older. There is no excuse not to.

On a different note:
I was listening to 'N Sync earlier and I couldn't believe Lance Bass was a part of them. Seeing him on Dancing With the Stars now it is so hard to picture him in the boy band faze. I really like DWTS this season and hopefully Lance, Cody Linley, and Warren Sapp can stick around.

"We Belong Together Like The Open Seas And Shores"

My obsession with Gavin DeGraw continues with We Belong Together. So, instead of coming up with an original title for this completely pointless post I thought I would use lyrics from one of his songs.

Some random notes:
  • I was heartbroken when I read that El Duque (I think that translates to 'The Duke' but I speak French) has filed for free agency. I am totally going to miss that injury-in-a-box.
  • Billy Wagner is the featured Met on my Mets calender for November. I have 2 calenders for next year, one is the general Mets calender that I have had for the past 2 years and the other is an only David Wright calender, so I have to figure out how to use both.
  • I saw Spamalot yesterday and it was AH-MAZING! I enjoyed seeing Clay Aiken post-Idol and there were a couple of refernces to Idol.
  • I went on MLB.com last night to see what games were on and then I remembered baseball season is over. That was depressing...
That is it for my "update"

I Just Remembered This

Earlier this year I had a post about the Royals being the hottest team in the MLB. I guess with the addition of Mike Jacobs they got hotter.

Just wanted to stay up-to-date...
even if it has nothing to do with the Mets!

I Am Only Slightly Obsessed With This Song

I mean, it is the only song I have listened to in the last hour and a half.

It is 'Going Down In Flames' by Three Doors Down

That Is No Way To Spend A Birthday!

Today Mike Jacobs was traded to the Kansas City Royals.
Today Mike Jacobs turns 28 years old.

Those two statements should not go together. He should be able to enjoy his birthday.
But, oh well, he can fantasize about playing with Alex.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MICHAEL JAMES JACOBS!!!!!

p.s.
It is really easy to remember his middle name cuz he is Michael James just like Mike Nickeas!

it's over

nothing else to say

It's Going To Be A Long Offseason...

and perhaps an even longer regular season. With the Phillies winning the World Series the stupid fans will not shut up and I will not be a happy person. It feels kind of like getting my heart ripped out and then watching it shrivel into nothing. If you don't 'catch my drift' then just think of lots of pain.

As much as I hated the way the Mets ended the season, this could possibly hurt more.

Uncle Cliff Is Down

That's right. Cliff Floyd has been taken off the Rays World Series roster. Apparently he hurt his shoulder. Now there are only 3 former Mets on the Rays roster. (Scott Kazmir, Chad Bradford, and Dan Wheeler)

I will still consider this a win for the Mets if the Rays win.

Let's Go Mets!

...I mean RAYS!

Football Never Really Meant Much To Me...

Until today when it softens the blow from the Fillies 2-1 World Series lead. I mean, football can't get better than both Chad Pennington and the Jets winning. I hate the fact that I hate football. I want to become a part of it. But I will always be rooting for Chad and for some reason I don't like the Giants so I decided to root for the Jets.

I guess that is all I have to say for now cuz NOTHING is going on...

"I'll Be the One"

There really is NOTHING interesting going on. The World Series doesn't interest me much because the Mets, Indians, or Pirates aren't in it.

But I will be watching tonight. At least for the National Anthem. Cuz the Backstreet Boys are singing and there is no way I can miss that.

Beat the filles and the World Will Stay On its Axis

If not, this blog will become very quiet. I wanted the Brewers to win. They lost. I wanted the Dodgers to win. They lost. If the Rays keep this pattern something very bad will happen. All I ask is for a good beating of the fillies. They don't deserve to win and if they do win 2008 will never be acknowledged for having a World Series. S0, if you catch my drift, THE RAYS BETTER WIN!!!!!

I will be back with baseball stuff later.

That Was Weird

I was just listening to the song 'Hold On' by Good Charlotte and as the lyrics were going "it's not over" I loaded Jacoby's blog and the first post to show up is called It's Not Over.

I don't know how that happened.

and now I'm listening to 'Pop' by N'Sync. I know like all the words and it is really easy to sing along to.

Let's Go Red Sox!

Today Kinda Sucked

But how could anybody enjoy the day after the fillies win the national league. How many days until Spring Training? But, I also found this really cute picture of Scott Kazmir and the thing is, I WANT HIM TO LOSE! And it is really hard to want him to lose when he is that cute. Also, Jacoby isn't in the lineup again so there is no point to watch.

I really want something big to happen. Like the fillies imploding.

So, I will leave you with these (1,2,3,4) while I write a paragraph describing a place that I have been to and enjoy going to (coughcough*sheastadium*coughcough) for English class.

Enjoy!

and the pic of Kazmir in the story is the cute one I found...

I basically died from laughter while watching this

This Post Doesn't Really Need A Title

Because I Figured It Would Be A Good Idea To Finally Post

I said that it would get quiet around here and even though it took a little longer than I thought, it still has gotten quiet.

There really isn't anything to say while the playoffs are still going on. I am just doing my best to survive while the Phillies look like a strong team that has a good chance of going to the World Series. If things worked out the way I want it would be a Dodgers-Red Sox WS and it would go 7 games. I would be pulling for the Sox but would not be heart broken if the Dodgers won.

I have learned is that Manny Ramirez doesn't want to come to the Mets because they play in Shea Stadium. (no they don't). I also learned that Joe Smith is moving from Ohio to Florida. (why?).

But past that I have been completely bored with baseball. This offseason is not going to be easy.

Only Me

The first thing I thought of when I saw the title of this post was the show Unfabulous that used to be on Nick. I mean, the theme song has all of the UN-words and those are two of them.

Other than that, the Mets news is that Abiorix Burgos is going to jail for 3 months waiting for the trial for his hit and run accident. And somebody is spreading some rumor that the Mets would make a trade with the Yankees involving Carlos Beltran, Robbie Cano, Ian Kennedy, and others from the Yankees.

The postseason is really boring without the Mets.

My Last Meal

...what a way to come back from 2 days off of blogging. I really am bored.

But basically I won't be doing anything tomorrow because I have to fast for Yom Kippur. I was kinda hoping the Mets would still be playing on Yom Kippur so it would give me something to do but they aren't. I guess I will have to settle for watching Jacoby against Cliff Floyd and Chad Bradford. Or I can watch Andre Ethier against that team that plays in Philly.

Whatev. Not much to say. The Mets haven't really done anything. But I really want them to get Jake Peavy if the Padres put him out there.

I LOVE YOU JAKE!

The Mets Need To Be Busy

I'm not really good at this but I'll give it a try.

The Mets have a long offseason in front of them and to be successful they have a lot of work to do. They have already picked up Delgado's option and taken care of Omar and Jerry.

The Mets need to redo the bullpen. They should get rid of Schoeneweis, Heilman, Sanchez, and the others that would move back and forth from AAA to the majors (Muniz, etc...). They will still have Smith, Ayala, and Stokes but they will go from there. Spring Training will show if Parnell, Kunz, and Niese will be ready to join the big club. But, really, I have one message about the bullpen for Omar: STAY AWAY FROM K-ROD!!!

The starting pitching needs new faces. They should let Pedro move on and only sign Ollie if it is absolutely necessary. I would like if they could sign Jon Garland or Derek Lowe. They can also give Niese a shot in the rotation or the bullpen. John Maine should be able to come back as a starter. Johan, Mikey P., and John Maine should be locks and the other two spots are up in the air.

For 2nd base Daniel Murphy should get a shot just so the Mets know what he can do. He seems like a player that will never really have a position and teams will have him for his bat. If the Mets are able to pull something off and get Orlando Hudson then I would still like Murphy to know how to play 2nd base to spell Hudson and also because Hudson is injury prone.

In leftfield I would stay far away from Manny. He is playing well right now because he has motivation. Without that motivation he could turn on any team and pull something like he did to the Red Sox. The Mets could go with the youth and keep Nick Evans there but I don't see that happening. I also don't see F-Mart coming up anytime soon because has be injury prone. Angel Pagan will also be back and Endy has always been a nice outfielder. The Mets will obviously look at who is on the market in the outfield.

The Mets had 29 blown saves this year so the bullpen is the obvious thing that needs to be fixed. As much as I would love a lot of changes I just can't see this team being that different coming into Spring Training next year. Maybe it is just my lack of confidence in the front office but I think it will be more anticipation than anything else for the Mets and Mets fans.

It's Not Working Out

The whole thing with Daniel Murphy as my "boyfriend" just isn't working. So, I have moved on to Joe Smith. I have liked him more the whole time but I just hadn't made him my "boyfriend" yet. But now I have.

YAY JOE SMITH!

Back To The Old Format?

I've been thinking about going back to the old template. It is one of the original blogger templates and if you go to Divided Loyalty it is that format but I would use different colors. I know that isn't exactly a Mets theme but I liked that template and to be honest it is kinda for superstitious reasons. When I first started this blog the Mets were doing well and it was just kinda something I barely ever updated. I will save all of the widgets from the sidebar so that is nothing to worry about.

I am just wondering what other people's thoughts are.

Too Bad He's A Yankee

I think I am too excited to write this post but I will do my best.

I just got 2 Xavier Nady baseball cards from when he was in the minor leagues. They are from 2001 and 2002 and for the Lake Elsinore Storm and he wore uniform #20. It is also cool that the cards list him as both an infielder and an outfielder. (He used to play some 1st and 3rd base). But the cards are just really cool!

I'm still watching Gavid DeGraw videos, so that is all for now!

(I'll try to post pics of the cards soon)

Gavin DeGraw--Cheated On Me (Save the Music)

This is my new favorite song. And I really like Gavid DeGraw.

...not just because he is cute!

Really Good Song

The homework has me again tonight so instead I will post the video.  The song is Wordplay by Jason Mraz.  (He's the guy that sings I'm Yours)

...and it returns...

huh?

wow. listening to hamels being interviewed after the game. it sounds like he never went through puberty.

also, this.

Why Does HE Get Playoff Baseball?

As Guillermo Mota comes in to pitch for the Brewers I was wondering why he should get to play postseason ball when he is the reason the Mets didn't last year.

This is the one time in my life I will root for the Phillies.
...against Guillermo Mota.

Why am I even watching this? I need a life...

Wow. I Love This Guy.

Johan pitched on Satuday injured. And he was great. I don't know what to say. None of the fans knew about the injury before today and think about it just makes Johan all the more amazing.

no words

wow

so now jacoby is going to have a playoff blog for the sox.
wahoo!

Just A Bit Awkward

School went better than I thought today but that is mostly because my friends don't really follow baseball. But in biology today all I could think about was Ryan Braun. We were talking about stomach muscles (and I won't go into more detail than that) so I was think about that area of the body and all I could vision was this picture:
It's ridiculous! He HAS LIKE AN 8 PACK!

and that's all i have to say

i'm not ready for this to be over

and right now nothing is going to cheer me up. the only thing i can think of is if david wright, joe smith, mike pelfrey, and daniel murphy all appeared at my bedroom door. just checked. they aren't there. i don't want to think about the red sox or angels or any other playoff team. it's too hard. i need my time and it's going to be a while until i feel safe talking baseball with anybody other than a mets fan. it just isn't fair. the outcome of the game made me cry and then the post game tribute made me cry even though i was only alive for the likes of piazza, alfonzo, ventura, and franco. seeing hojo look so dejected was the worst. i wanted to run up and give him a hug. and hearing ron talk about consoling hojo made me want to hug him even more.

school is going to be tough tomorrow but i have tuesday and wednesday off for rosh hashanah. i don't know how i'll make it through the day.

i'd say let's go mets but there's no point.
