I'm In

Well, Jacoby made his first major league error tonight. But that's okay. I still love him.

And that's why I'm bringing up this:
Boston talk-radio host Danny Picard suggests, on his blog I’m Jusy Sayin, that, in the off season, the Red Sox should offer RHP Clay Buchholz, top prospect RHP Michael Bowden, OF Jacoby Ellsbury and SS Jed Lowrie to the Mets for SS Jose Reyes.

I would take that trade in a heartbeat. Reyes just hasn't been the same since 2006 (or 2007). If he could come back healthy and prove he can still play at some high level he could be trade-able. This would be a good trade. The Mets would have probably the best outfield in the majors with Jacoby in RF, Beltran in CF, and Fernando Martinez in LF. They would also get a good shortstop after trading away a good SS.

This would definitely be a trade I would want to make. I guess I wasn't the only one thinking the Mets could acquire Jacoby.

Let's Go Mets!

yeah...no...
i think what we have right now is working fine, and even though reyes is a good shortstop and could replace ellsbury in the base-running aspect, there's too much of a chance to be taken 'cause he's not up to his own par in terms of health.
(and of course i would object to this anyway :D)
