Joe Smith hasn't pitched for the Indians since August 29. YES, OVER A WEEK AGO. His last time out he gave up a home run but he has been almost 100% reliable of late. And that of course means Eric Wedge freaks me out by not pitching him for an eternity. I haven't read anything about an injury or a demotion. It basically just means he is inexplicably hated by Eric Wedge.
So, if you are in Cleveland or wherever the Indians are currently playing, look out for Joe. And please tell me if you see him.
